The Excel models we use on our own engagements, made freely available: multiple grids, EBITDA restatements, due diligence templates, earn-out calculations and financial instrument valuation models.
No sign-up required. Each file comes with a publication that explains its method and its limits.
We publish them for a simple reason: a business owner who understands how their value is calculated negotiates better, asks sharper questions of their advisers and walks into the negotiating room prepared. The method is no trade secret; what makes the difference is the rigor with which it is applied.

These are the working files we genuinely use on engagements, stripped of any client data and documented so they can be used as they are: sector multiple grids, EBITDA restatements, due diligence templates, earn-out mechanics, financial instrument valuation models.
Each file is attached to a publication that explains its method, its assumptions and its limits. The tool on its own does not replace the reasoning: it saves you the formatting, not the analysis.
They are intended for business owners, finance directors and advisers who want to understand a calculation before entrusting it to someone, or to prepare a file before consulting us.
A model is worth only the discipline it imposes: making every assumption explicit, tracing the origin of every figure, and being able to measure how sensitive the result is to the two or three parameters that genuinely drive it. Our files always separate assumption cells from calculation cells, so that you always know what you can change and what follows from it.
This is also where most valuation disagreements sit: the scope used for net debt, the treatment of non-recurring items, the choice of the comparables sample. Our conventions are written down in black and white in every file, so that you can discuss them rather than have them imposed on you.
The Excel models that accompany our publications, gathered in one place: 23 files to date, most of them available in French and in English. Filter by service to find yours.
We build our own artificial intelligence tools to run our engagements. Two of them are published openly. Download the file, drop it into Claude Code, and you have the same method we apply, described step by step. No account to create, no form to fill in.
Turns a folder of loose documents into a data room ready for due diligence: sorting into eleven sections, standardized renaming, duplicate detection by checksum, identification of superseded versions, then a checklist of the documents still missing. Folder structure available in five languages.
Builds a targeted list of investors or buyers from local databases, your own contacts and web research, then produces an Excel workbook with a thirty-one-column tracking pipeline, from first contact through to closing.
The file you download contains the full method. The GitHub repository adds the scripts and templates needed to run the skill end to end, along with the MIT licence that allows you to adapt it to your own needs.
Nothing theoretical: these are our working tools, anonymized and tidied up.
No email required: a well-informed business owner makes a better counterpart.
The grids and the barometer follow our annual market observations.
The transactions presented were carried out by, with the contribution of, or with the participation of members of the Hectelion team in the context of functions performed currently or previously.
Yes, with nothing in return. No form, no email to leave, no sales follow-up after you download.
Yes, for internal use or for a file you produce yourself. A model you have filled in, however, does not commit Hectelion and does not constitute an independent opinion that a third party can rely on.
The multiple grids and the barometer follow our annual market observations. The methodology templates change when practice or regulation changes. The date appears in the file name.
The calculation methods are the same in both countries. The accounting and tax frameworks differ: each related publication sets out the points to watch in France and in Switzerland.
No. The download is direct, with no form and no account to create. We would rather a well-informed business owner contacted us when they feel the need.
No. A model structures a calculation, it passes no judgment on your assumptions. A valuation commits an independent professional to a reasoned conclusion that others can rely on.
Write to us describing what you need. If the subject comes up often, it joins our publication schedule. If your situation is specific, a 30-minute scoping conversation is often more useful than a generic file.
Most of the models exist in French and in English. The English version is reachable from the corresponding publication, by switching the language of the site.

Yes, as part of an engagement. The first 30-minute conversation remains free and is often enough to clear up any methodological doubts without going further.
Our team supports you with independence, rigor and proximity to transform your ambitions into tangible results.
